Every so often I run across something which makes my hours and hours of cube dwelling slightly less miserable. Good music is one of those things. Free music is even better.

Harvey Danger’s Little By Little - Download it for free. Yes. Free, as in beer.
And while there are about a bazillion ways to get good music for free, most of those ways run the slight chance of being chased down and eaten by RIAA lawyers who regularly sue little girls and grandmothers and suck the blood out of puppies.
Of course, there’s plenty of free legal music out there as well, but how much of it is ever really all that good? But every once in a while you find the golden trifecta. It’s good, free, LEGIT music that’s just “out there” for everyone to enjoy. The hope, of course, is that you like the music so much you go on to buy the band’s other stuff. Yes, it’s a tactic also employed by crack dealers and pimps, but it works.
That good, free, legit music that I’ve stumbled across is the latest album entitled “Little by Little” by Harvey Danger. You can visit the Harvey Danger website and learn about the band and download their latest album. It worked for me. I downloaded it. I played it to the point where it’s worn a groove in my iPod hard drive. And like a junky needing another hit, I slapped their other albums on my Amazon.com wishlist just in time for Santa and everyone else to start planning.
And yes, it will make you feel good…feel good…feel good…
