iPad Ordering Form

As you’ve read, I fixed my iPod with the Sad iPod icon by ramming it against a pad of paper on my desk a few times. I am not advocating this solution for anyone. I’m advocating that you buy a specially designed hand-made custom detailed iPad and bang you iPod against that.

This kit is totally 100% completely guaranteed to work as something you can bang your iPod against in an attempt to jostle the loose hard drive connection and get rid of your sad iPod icon. This kit is totally 100% completely guaranteed to do nothing else. It may fix your iPod. It may break it more. But, hey, at least you have something to bang your iPod against.

There are two options:

Basic Model:
Length: 11.75 inches
Width: 8.5 inches
Thickness: <.25 inches of plush flattened wood pulp
Weight: Yes
Color: Varies
Note: Please allow for subtle variations in the color and design of the Sad iPod Repair Kit. Our manufacturing process is one which values the quality of each kit over the desire to be consistent in design. It also totally depends on which supply cabinets at my office are left unlocked after 5pm.

  1. [...] This is a ridiculous method but it works. Tom is earning a little extra money selling recovery kits. I had no time to order mine and dog knows it would probably get stuck in customs or lost in the mail. So I hit it. And the sad face disappeared. [...]

    Creepy how it actually worked.
I bought an Ipod mini 2nd gen. at a yardsale with an iHome for 10 dollars.
The evil sad Ipod Icon appeared, and I brought up the help page…
I did not want to sent It to apple and pay over $100 to get it fixed, so I found this.
It worked, but after a good 6-7 times bashing it on the mousepad.
    Who knew?
